40°C MAXIMUM.
Wash at 40°C or below. If the garment’s care label specifies a lower temperature, use that temperature instead.
GOOD CARE. MORE WEAR.
A few simple habits help keep your CHIRA pieces looking their best. Choose the guide that matches your garment, and always check its care label. If the label gives a lower temperature or a more specific instruction, follow the label.
THE WASH LIMIT
For CHIRA garments with sublimation printing. Forty degrees is the maximum washing temperature, not a target you need to reach every time.
Wash at 40°C or below. If the garment’s care label specifies a lower temperature, use that temperature instead.
Read the instructions for the complete garment, including its trims and construction. Sublimation describes the printing process; the care label covers the whole piece.
Follow the garment label for drying and ironing. Washing at the right temperature is only one part of caring for your product.
TURN IT INSIDE OUT
For CHIRA cotton garments: wash at 30°C, inside out, and keep them out of the tumble dryer.
Use a 30°C wash. Always follow any more restrictive instructions on the garment’s care label.
Turn the garment inside out before washing to reduce direct friction on its outer surface and any printed details.
Let the garment air dry, following the instructions on its care label. Do not tumble dry.
WE KNOW WHAT WE MAKE.
Our 25 years of experience in textile production help us recognise signs that a garment may have been cared for incorrectly, including washing at excessive temperatures or using a tumble dryer against its instructions.
If something seems wrong with your product, contact us with your order number and clear photographs. We review each case individually, taking the product, its care instructions and the reported issue into account.
This guide does not limit your statutory rights regarding defective or non-conforming products.
NOT SURE WHICH GUIDE APPLIES?
