CHIRA / POLICY

CUSTOMIZATION POLICY.

How custom work moves from idea to approval, production and the finished jersey.

LAST UPDATED / 22 SEPTEMBER 2026

01 / CUSTOMIZER

THE CUSTOMIZER IS THE STARTING POINT.

The CHIRA customizer contains the standard options available for creating and personalizing a product online. These options are not intended to represent every design or production possibility available to us.

If you need a different graphic element, pattern, color treatment, placement or product detail, you can submit a Custom Request. We will review the request and confirm whether it can be produced.

Work requested outside the standard customizer may affect pricing, production time or both. Any additional cost will be communicated before that work proceeds.

02 / CUSTOMER ARTWORK

YOUR ARTWORK. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

You may provide logos, graphics, typography, illustrations or other visual material for use on a CHIRA product.

By submitting artwork, you confirm that you own the material or have the necessary permission, licence or authority to use it and to ask CHIRA to reproduce it as part of your order.

CHIRA may decline artwork that we reasonably believe infringes third-party rights, contains unlawful material or cannot be produced to an acceptable technical standard.

Customer-supplied artwork is used for the purpose of preparing and producing the requested products unless another use is separately agreed.

03 / AI ARTWORK

AI IMAGE IN. PRODUCTION-READY ARTWORK OUT.

AI-generated images can contain distorted geometry, inconsistent lines, unreadable details, unwanted artifacts or elements that do not translate correctly to garment production.

If you send us AI-generated artwork, CHIRA may reconstruct, redraw, simplify, clean or adapt the image before it is used on the product.

This process is intended to create artwork that works properly across the actual garment panels and the sublimation process. The reconstructed artwork therefore does not have to be pixel-for-pixel identical to the original AI image.

You remain responsible for ensuring that material submitted from an AI tool can legally be used for your intended purpose and does not knowingly reproduce protected third-party content without permission.

04 / DESIGN APPROVAL

CHECK IT BEFORE WE MAKE IT.

Where a manual design, artwork reconstruction or custom production setup is required, CHIRA may provide a visual proof or final design for approval before production.

Approval means that you have checked the information shown, including names, numbers, spelling, logos, graphic placement, colors and other personalized elements.

Once the design is approved and the order enters production, CHIRA will manufacture the product according to the approved production artwork.

Please review personalized names, numbers and spelling carefully. Information approved incorrectly by the customer cannot normally be corrected after production has started.

05 / CHANGES

APPROVED DOESN'T MEAN EDITABLE FOREVER.

If you request a change after approval, we will first check whether production has started.

Changes may still be possible before production begins. Depending on the work involved, additional design charges or a revised production schedule may apply.

Once printing, cutting, sewing or another irreversible production stage has started, changes may no longer be possible. If a remake is required because of a customer-requested change, additional costs may apply.

06 / TOLERANCES

SCREEN AND FABRIC ARE NOT THE SAME THING.

Colors displayed on a phone, monitor or other screen can vary because of display settings, brightness, color profiles and the device being used.

The finished appearance can also be influenced by the fabric, printing process, garment construction and the way artwork crosses seams or individual panels.

CHIRA aims to reproduce approved artwork as consistently and accurately as the production process allows, but minor differences in color, scale or positioning can occur within normal production tolerances.

These normal production variations are different from manufacturing defects or products that do not conform to the approved specification.

07 / PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS

MADE FOR YOU MEANS MADE TO YOUR SPECIFICATION.

Products containing custom colors, artwork, logos, names, numbers or other customer-selected elements are produced specifically for the submitted order.

Because production is based on your approved specification, cancellation or change-of-mind return options may be restricted once custom production has begun.

This does not limit any rights you may have where a product is defective, damaged or does not conform to the order and approved specification.

Returns, defects and refund procedures are handled under the CHIRA Returns & Refunds Policy and any applicable consumer protection law.

08 / PRODUCTION FILES

DESIGN FILES AND PRODUCTION FILES ARE NOT THE SAME THING.

To manufacture a customized product, CHIRA may create technical files including panel layouts, print files, production templates, color separations, pattern adjustments and other manufacturing assets.

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, these internal technical and production files are part of CHIRA's manufacturing workflow and are not automatically supplied with the finished product.

This does not transfer ownership of customer-provided logos, trademarks or original artwork to CHIRA.

If you require specific editable artwork or production files, tell us before the work begins so that the scope, format and any associated design cost can be agreed separately.
